Linear Algebra for Quantum Computing Series: Part Fifteen (The Finale!)

It’s finally here!! The last sheet of the Linear Algebra for Quantum Computing cheat sheet series. It covers Cauchy sequences and completeness, what it means for there to be a metric on a vector space, Hilbert spaces, and quantum registers.

I’ve been working on this series for a minute (which you can tell by the sidebar..) but I’m proud my commitment to learning the material and the fact that I repeatedly came back to it even though I was usually trying to juggle a plate full of other things simultaneously. At times the material felt very abstract, and I couldn’t really see the connection between it and quantum computing yet, so maintaining a high level of interest wasn’t always possible for me. Still, I knew that it would eventually all come together (the math, the quantum mechanics, the computing and coding) and that helped motivate me to keep going, as did the desire to support other people learning this material. I also have to admit that some of the past months have been tumultuous for me, and that having the math studying to throw myself into mentally did help give my brain and my emotions a kind of break. Phew.

Next, I’ll be taking the IBM Certified Associate Developer - Qiskit exam once I work through their study and practice material (and maybe make some of my own to share here…keep an eye out!).
